The Department of Pharmacy Practice, in association with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of KTN College of Pharmacy, organized an interactive session titled “Global Horizon: Exploring the Entrepreneurial Opportunities Overseas” for Pharm D students on 28/01/2025.The session aimed to provide insights into career opportunities for pharmacists abroad, particularly in the United Kingdom (UK). The event featured Dr. Dona Ann Davis, a pharmacist from the UK, as the guest speaker, who shared valuable information on career pathways, licensing requirements, and entrepreneurial opportunities available for pharmacists in the UK. The session was well-coordinated by Mrs. Anuradha V.P, Associate Professor, KTN College of Pharmacy. The program commenced with a welcome speech by Dr. Arulkumaran, Principal, KTN College of Pharmacy, followed by an introduction of the speaker by Dr. Nisha Joy, Associate Professor, KTN College of Pharmacy. The session was highly engaging, allowing students to interact with the speaker and clarify their queries regarding international career prospects. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. S. Rajarajan, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. The session proved to be informative and beneficial for the students, offering them a broader perspective on global career opportunities in pharmacy.
