World Environment Day Celebration-2026

World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at KTN College of Pharmacy, Chalavara, Ottapalam, in collaboration with Lions Club Cherpulassery. The programme aimed to raise awareness about environmental protection and promote sustainable practices among students and the community.

The event was attended by members of Lions Club Cherpulassery, Faculty members of KTNCP, and students of Pharm D and B Pharm courses of KTNCP. The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by inspiring speeches emphasizing the significance of environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, and the collective responsibility of safeguarding nature for future generations.

Tree plantation drive was organized as part of the celebration. Members of the Lions Club,Director of KTNCP Mr. P P Premkrishnan, Principal Dr Arul Kumaran, and students actively participated in planting saplings within the college campus, symbolizing their commitment to creating a greener and healthier environment. Awareness sessions on waste management, pollution control, and eco-friendly lifestyles were also conducted.

Pharm D and B Pharm and D pharm students participated enthusiastically in the activities and took a pledge to adopt environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives. Their active involvement contributed significantly to the success of the programme.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to Lions Club Cherpulassery, the management of KTN College of Pharmacy, faculty members, and students for their valuable support and participation. The programme successfully conveyed the message of environmental stewardship and inspired everyone to contribute towards a sustainable future.
