BLOOD DONATION CAMP-2026

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully conducted at KTN College of Pharmacy. The camp was organized by the NSS Unit of KTN College of Pharmacy and the Department of Pharmacy Practice in association with Mother care Hospital Mannarkkad. The programme aimed to promote social responsibility and create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation among students and staff members. The camp witnessed active participation from both students and faculty. The camp was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. KSG Arul Kumaran, who emphasized the significance of blood donation as a noble act that saves lives. In his inaugural address, he appreciated the efforts of the NSS unit and the Department of Pharmacy Practice for organizing such a humanitarian initiative. A total of around 32 students and 10 faculty members voluntarily donated blood during the camp. The medical team from Mothercare Hospital ensured proper screening, collection, and post donation care for all donors, maintaining safety and hygiene protocols throughout the programme. The camp concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Gopinath U, NSS Coordinator of KTN College of Pharmacy. He expressed gratitude to the hospital team, faculty members, student volunteers, and all donors for their wholehearted support and cooperation in making the event a grand success. The Blood Donation Camp was a meaningful initiative that reflected the spirit of service and community engagement among the students and staff of KTN College of Pharmacy.
